Recently all my friends and I visited a lovely place called Hawaii. It was a wonderful Christmas vacation among close friends. It was the most exotic Christmas, we celebrated it on the beach and our Christmas tree was a palm. And by the way, it was my first Christmas without snow and I hope it was the last, because snow is the most general Christmas attribute for me. When we came back home we brought a lot of souvenirs for our children and for themselves. There I bought couple Hawaiian shirts for my husband David. He always wears business suits and there are no bright colours among his clothes. That is why I bought it for him; it would perfectly suit in his wardrobe. He is a business man; he always has a lot of business meetings. One day after our friend’s party he overslept and was late to the negotiations. And in haste he began to dress. He was in a hurry and didn’t even mention how he dressed one of these Hawaiian shirts. All his business partners were very surprised when saw him in this shirts. They thought it was a joke and as they had a great sense of humor, they estimated it. But his colloquies understood that it was an accident and after this case they always tried two make a witty banter at him. That such accident wouldn’t happen again he put these shirts in a drawer that to wear it only when he would go to the vacation. |
